If a transaction is in pending status, it means that we could not figure out whether or not the money has been credited into the beneficiary account. However, the amount has been debited. It would take a maximum of 48 hours from the time of transaction for the transaction to succeed (i.e. credit to happen) or fail (i.e. credit to fail). If the transaction failed, refund would be initiated immediately. For any questions on the refund timeline/process, contact your bank.
Dispute flow
If you’re unhappy with the resolution of a pending transaction, we can raise a dispute with NPCI. To do that,
> Go to the activity centre
> Click on transaction (this is searchable by entering the name of payee)
> You will land on the ‘Transaction details’ page
> Click on help
> Select the UPI transaction
> Raise a dispute with NPCI
