It could be because of any of the following possible reasons :
- UPI VPA holder's name does not match SlicePay account name - In this case please enter a VPA already registered in your name.
- UPI VPA does not exist - Please create a new UPI.
- You are trying to add a UPI VPA which has been blacklisted by the SlicePay risk team - Please try with another UPI VPA registered in your name or contact SlicePay helpdesk.
- UPI VPA is already registered with another SlicePay account holder - Please use a UPI VPA registered in your name. If you are using a UPI VPA that is registered in your name then please contact SlicePay helpdesk.
Under Review case: Sometimes there is a mismatch between name returned by UPI VPA and your registered name on SlicePay. In such cases where there is any doubt, upto 24 hours could be taken to verify and approve or decline the addition of UPI VPA. You won't be able to add a new UPI VPA during this period. Please use a UPI VPA registered in your name only to avoid such cases.
